Vintage 1990s Stephen Schlanser kiln fired glass menorah, signed. Kiln fired glass is the process of taking plate glass and carefully shaping it by heating it to near melting temperature, then gravitating from its solid state to form shapes (as seen in the Schlanser line). Candles not included.

Mr. Schlanser has a diverse and interesting background with occupations ranging from racing motorcycles to modeling. He has a great appreciation for architecture and the arts. While working as an apprentice for the renowned German glass artisan Paul von Domarus, Mr. Schalnser grew fond of glass making and later opened his own successful stained glass studio. In 1990 he presented his first collection of kiln-fired glass.
