Antique porcelain scuttle (shaving mug) with embossed flowers and leaves design, gold details. For use or display.
Used in the late 1800s -early 1900s for wet shaving. How to use it? Warm the mug with hot water and fill the lower reservoir with hot/warm water. Create lather on brush in shaving cup (not included), then dip brush in water and add lather to brush. Apply lather on area to be shaved. When not in use you would rest the brush on the top of the mug (steam will keep the brush warm).
