A fine antique Old Hickory style Victorian sculptural bentwood and cane Adirondack form lounge chair. This intricately woven chair is a stand-out for its amazing sculptural lines. Tight splint weaving with delicate figure-8 patterns and bent hardwood throughout. Tightly woven caning on seat, back and bowed arm rest. The head rest is of a solid piece of curved wood with great antique patina of the period. Solid splayed legs supported by four stretchers. A true statement chair finished off with classic stick and ball on arms and back. Lastly this chair is constructed entirely without screws or metal hardware. The tight weaving, joinery, and master craftsmanship holds this chair together organically.

Cancellations
