French Empire Inspired Ormolu and Porcelain 6-Light Chandelier by F.B.A.I. Italy
A fine French Empire inspired ormolu and porcelain 6-light chandelier by Fonderia Bronzi Artistici Italia (F.B.A.I.). Delicate hand-painted gold sea shell form motifs adorn stunning glazed cobalt blue porcelain. Casting detail is exceptional, featuring six cheerful swans. Crisp, clear foundry markings casted into all metal pieces (inconspicuously). Please see photos for details.

Since 1966, Fonderia Bronzi Artistici Italia has been safeguarding and constantly revitalising the art of casting metal, with fiery passion, to create unique works of art. At F.B.A.I. this skill has been passed down from father to son, ever since cavalier Franco Perego co-ordinated by his brother-in-law Alberto Callegari, set up the family business; a skill that has its roots in typically Italian master craftsmanship. In the union between bronze and porcelain - produced, modelled and finished with the other Perego family company: Tiche Porcellane d’Arte -, both the manufacturing and artistic value of F.B.A.I. creations is increased even further from this union.
