Large 1950's free standing carved wood panel sculpture. Image of Buddha is completely hand-carved in deep, crisp, and stunning detail. Carved from one thick solid piece of hardwood. Panel is mounted on solid wood base connected by chrome mounting posts. Very rustic with a modern appeal. This piece is very Zen and spiritual.
Wood shows a lot of age. Carved in the mid century, possibly using a large piece of reclaimed wood.
