Rare Mid-Century Modern wall art by Pacific Northwest sculptor, painter, and printmaker Robert Flynn. Titled "Magic City", features an abstract painted cityscape on fabric, wrapped with a walnut frame.
Born in 1930 in Seattle, Washington, Robert Flynn exhibited his art from 1958 thru 1975 and continues to work as a sculptor on the island of Kauai. Flynn's prolific career was celebrated and featured in a major exhibition at the Museum of Northwest Art (MoNA) in 2016. He is self-trained and artistically inspired by Jackson Pollock and Albert Pinkham Ryder.
